How does it work?
Many students in Leechburg School District do lack access to food during weekends. Community P.A.T.H. provides a bag of nourishing food and supplements the free or reduced lunch program students receive during the week.
Leechburg Area School District’s Interact Club and the Food Bank work together to provide these weekend food bags.
The Leechburg Food Bank sponsors the Community P.A.T.H. program. The Food Bank’s Board of Directors are pastors of many of our local churches.
